MISSION

As nurturing, dedicated Christian models of education, we, the professional staff of St. Lucy Catholic School, together with our school parents and the St. Lucy community are committed to providing a safe inviting environment while building the child's self- esteem, through challenging the intellectual development of each individual child, and providing the continuing knowledge necessary to develop a life long faith life, empowering them to become productive citizens in our global community by sharing their talents and addressing the needs of those around them.

To empower the ability within each child to joyfully embrace and incorporate the Gospel Message into their daily lives.

To challenge each child to recognize and be respectful of the unique gifts each individual possesses by creating a nurturing environment and allowing each child to become active in our classroom, school, parish, and global community.

To provide, through liturgical celebrations, daily prayer, service projects, modeling and religious instructions the opportunity to develop a life long relationship with God.

To develop within each child, through modeling and life experiences, an awareness of the individual needs of others and instilling within them the desire and courage to respond to the needs of those around them.

The staff of St. Lucy Catholic School, together with our school parents, and the St. Lucy community believe that we are called to provide models of Christian behavior within a safe nurturing environment, supportive of the Gospel message, while providing our students with a formal education and to develop within each child a positive self image, sensitive to the unique gifts and needs of others, thereby empowering each child to optimum growth intellectually, spiritually, psychologically, and emotionally as they become productive citizens of our global community.
